that's my *other* soldering iron. I think they assembled it wrong somehow because it beeps every few minutes when turned off. I opened the case up & there should be no way it can get *any* power yet it still beeps

my third soldering iron is a genuine Hakko. it has a somewhat crappy handle with a latch that broke after a few months, but I do admit that it's otherwise quite good, if not really worth what I paid for it
