I still wish that Site 1/5 could be used for crewed Soyuz launches, but the fact it's still going to be used for the
#Soyuz2M is good. Any ideas to what types of modifications that need to be done? -
Soyuz-2 has a digital control system, so they have to replace the analog consoles used during prelaunch checks and launches with the new equipment. It means, the entire cable network needs to be replaced.

2M is the version with the restartable Blok-I stage right? Does that require any special infrastructure not present at other launch sites? I guess they'll need propellant for some sort of attitude control thrusters on it, and some kind of ignitor (TEA-TEB?)

I know at one point (when they were considering RD-0124 for the High Energy Second Stage on Antares) Orbital Sciences wanted a restartable RD-0124, and I think paid for some dev work. But I don't recall any info on what that would have entailed and I cant find much now either
