I think you need a "he" before "declined" here: ... Mr. Cruz, who said he has advised some of his Democratic Senate colleagues ... to “have fun and listen to the people,” though declined to name names. The "he" that's the subject of "advised" is embedded in the "who" clause.

With all the $ being made by the networks, you’d think they could devote more time to make debates actual debates. How about every night for 2 weeks, 1.5 hrs, 2 candidates at a time? We deserve better.
Great idea. It won't happen because people crave soundbites instead of substance, but I wish it would. I know that's the kind of debate that Ted Cruz prefers.
