HE may not think it was offensive or hurtful. It was. The fact that he cannot understand this and is mishandling this by digging deeper is a problem.

I doubt this hurts him actually. He’s still doing well with black people in SC. He’s been defended by Clyburn etc. and younger people don’t tend to vote as high a rate as older.
