All I have to say is that Michael Lewis is a soothsayer. Read The Fifth Risk to understand that the things we don’t know about what Trump’s administration is (or isn’t) doing is 10x more frightening than the things they are doing in plain sight.

Meanwhile Trump is so worried about the effect on the stock market that he is lying (yet again) to the American people. It is outrageous how unprepared the US, and how funding has been decreased by the GOP and Trump.

Not clear what we, as individuals, should be doing to “brace” or prepare.

Solid point. We’ve taken to eating bat soup only once (maybe twice) a week, but beyond that we’re at a loss.
