    If you're an engineering leader, never forget your job is to get your team delivering utility (to users for product teams, internal teams for infrastructure). There are things - like culture! Process! - that help, but they are valuable only in what they enable, not inherently.

    We migrated 's main production database 1 week ago for the first time in years while simultaneously jumping from Mongo 2.4 to 3.4. We've seen a 70% reduction in disk usage now w/ WiredTiger and solid performance gains as one might assume 😁 4TB 🗜️➡️ 1.2TB
