      @YouTube @YTCreators I just got the email and I’m confused. I have over 1,000 subscribers and over 160,000 views. Doesn’t that mean i should still be eligible for monetization??

      To be eligible for monetization channels will need 4k watch hours in the past 12 months & 1k subscribers. If you’re currently part of YPP but don’t meet the new threshold, you’ll have you’ll have until Feb 20 before your channel is removed.

      Thanks for letting us know, are you looking in YouTube Analytics in the watch time report? It defaults to minutes, so make sure you're looking at "hours" instead. Keep us posted.

      Once you reach the threshold, you won't need to reapply and you'll be re-evaluated for YPP again at that time. If everything looks good, we’ll bring the channel back into YPP. Let us know if you have any other questions!
