    I thought I couldn't admire Ashley any more and then she posts this. Brave + honest + smart.

    My dad did 30 years in prison for sexual assault. I love my dad. Always will. That does not change what he did, or the fact that he needed to face consequences. Being a daughter who loves her father does not require a blind defense of his actions or crimes.

    The change you want in the world will require you change yourself too. If you want to live in a world where women are believed, you can't only believe women when the accused aren't people you care about. The culture shifts we seek start in our own minds, and in our own homes.

    Lawyers for the President of the United States do not believe he is capable of answering questions about his involvement in Russian election interference and other possibly criminal activity honestly and without committing additional felonies. Let that sink in.

    Trump’s lawyers are still considering ways for him to testify before Mueller, provided the questions are limited and don’t focus on specifics where the president might perjure himself.

    One takeaway: I believe Brendan Fraser about the assault and his subsequent emotional shutdown. But if this level of harassment can paralyze a strong, famous man, maybe we can stop pretending women who are raped aren't credible unless they follow a checklist of "proper" response?

    This tweet is wrong on so many levels, not the least of which is JW suggesting he’s more of a man than Brendan Fraser. Quite the opposite.

    For the record, however, he was never physically “sketchy” with me in any way similar to that alleged by Brendan Fraser in GQ. He was probably aware I might have knocked his teeth out, had he tried. Final note: I’m so glad Brendan Fraser is back entertaining us. I’m a big fan.
