    Please take a moment to remove items from your lawn and decks before the weather event arrives on Monday. Last year I stepped outside to grab a rogue patio umbrella and ended up in Moncton.

    I’ve been trying to limit my social media intake but has it been pointed out that labour negotiations started moving not when educators and health care workers went off, but when the liquor stores would be affected?

    We're not going to '3rd dose' our way out of the pandemic just like we were never going to mask our way out. Vaccines (especially 1st & 2nd but also 3rd), masks, rapid tests, ventilation, sound policy, etc... ...each is a helpful tool providing additional/incremental benefit.

    On the plus side: I, apparently, have over 300+hrs of sick time banked? That seems ridiculous but also maybe (definitely) makes sense?

    I also tried to get into my doctor but they open the phone lines at 9 and you basically just have to call/get their voicemail/try again until someone actually picks up. This morning it took me 45 minutes and over 400 calls.

    In case you’re wondering how my first actual day of stress leave is going I did groceries but managed to fill an entire reusable bag before I realized I wasn’t scanning anything and this is how much yogurt we now have:
