Often doing nothing means avoiding large costs incurred doing something with many unintended negative outcomes.

Every action necessarily risks unintended outcomes. It is only when you are able to identify the likelihood and severity of those outcomes that you can make a rationals decision. When eco-radicals can start quantifying things, I'll start to listen
