There's a lexicon breakdown. "Site integrity" is a common phrase in tech for dealing with bots & spam, but here it just becomes "integrity."

A prominent account tweeted last night: "He leads the teams responsible for developing and enforcing Twitter’s rules." That person cropped out the rest of the sentence "rules on platform manipulation, spam and API access."

That was the earliest misunderstanding of this employee's role that I noticed. Now it's being repeated as fact on TV by a top advisor to the president.

Just reiterating this since now the president is tweeting about it: this employee didn't make the decision to fact-check Trump and is being scapegoated because of his politics.
