Uber will start requiring masks for drivers & riders on Monday. Drivers have to verify they're wearing a mask with facial recognition. Riders don't, but drivers can report riders for not masking.

Slightly inaccurate. Drivers can *cancel and report* riders for not wearing masks at no penalty to the driver. So in practice if a rider gets in without a mask on, you can tell them to exit your vehicle and cancel the trip before it begins.pic.twitter.com/YINBjPtTCU

No penalty except for the time, gas, and wear and tear in order to get to the point of cancelling the ride over masking.
