welp, I couldn't decide whether I liked natural scroll or not so I switched back and forth a bunch. now i've completely lost which way is up or down. i'm in hell! how could the scroll betray me like this

as part of work-from-home life, I have acquired a mouse for the first time in probably 7-8 years (?) and now I can't work because i'm just surfing around, trying to find things to scroll! the joy of scrolling! i'm elated!
