"Having those workers having protections, that’s an important part of getting the economy back on its feet," Uber's CEO said. "Once everyone comes up for air and has a little room to breathe, we’re hoping to have that kind of conversation with governments."
Ugh. This is going to get drivers killed. Across most of the US, drivers don’t have healthcare to see a doctor to be told to stay home. In NYC sick and high-risk drivers are able to use telemedicine to get order to self-isolate through @NYBCF benefits, but nowhere else
