I feel it's a bit weird reading about "TGIF being dead" from Kate Conger, as (by livetweeting it) she did more to kill it than any other non-Googler, which isn't acknowledged in the piece. (She deleted those tweets sometime in the last couple months, according to Google cache.)

That's a piece of the puzzle lots of activists missed - Kate's in it to sell views on her articles, not because she cares in any way. I don't think it's accidental she's cutting out the majority of Liz's excellent work on internal dissent. She gets leaks by promising publicity.
I think you're mischaracterizing my views and my sourcing. Liz has contributed so much to this space. In this story, we prioritized more recent events since her departure. There was no intent to minimize her contributions.
