I’m asking this sincerely, btw. Because if we think of things big-name journalists might aspire to, we can say speaking truth to power, prestige, money, credibility, etc. And *all* of these are reduced by being made to look stupid by awful media grifters. Yet they keep doing it!
do you have an example or hypothetical to help contextualize? would it be something like interviewing a hate group leader?
The uncritical acceptance and occasional lionization of Ngo as an honest reporter qualifies.
