Whoops, lost my pinned tweet in a mass delete/purge. Anyway, here's how I make bread. It's dead easy. If I can pull it off, so can you.

Maybe @_HenryBolton you shouldโ€™ve shared the context of the conversation. The person you were talking with was me, your brother, and at a family funeral. I walked away because I didnโ€™t want to engage with your small minded opinions. I really canโ€™t believe you posted this. twitter.com/_henrybolton/sโ€ฆ

New Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino is a former Trump appointee who follows insurrectionists and right-wing conspiracy accounts and likes their tweets. She's MAGA through and through. The coverage of her should reflect that fact. twitter.com/washingtonpostโ€ฆ

Honestly, media recruiters are the very worst for not sharing salaries in job ads. I asked someone else recruiting earlier for the salaries, and they haven't come back to me either.

This was caused by Daphne really not liking a new flavour of cat food. I have learned my lesson.

This is most powerful explosion ever detected. It's 8bn light years away and was bright enough to be captured a nasa space telescope. The blast is ten times more powerful than a supernova and thought to be caused by a giant gas cloud swallowed up by a supermassive black hole.

for god's sake stop sharing these accounts that lift other people's content. This account has stolen wholesale a three-year-old Facebook post for the clicks.

though as he says he's going to be "exec chair", whatever that means, *and* CTO and basically interfering massive, I am not optimistic. Mystic Kate predicts that she'll be gone within a few months and he'll step back in to CEO and it all goes to shit again.

Let's hope she's a grown-up who is actually able to do the incredibly difficult job of stopping this place falling apart.

Hi Tim - I was that slightly odd stranger who had just come out of Eames art gallery. I thought I recognised you, but now I realise who you are! I am a massive fan of both your work and your ability to dress as Bermondsey Street. Hope you had a lovely rest of the evening. twitter.com/MrTimDunn/statโ€ฆ

Fortunately, there is a lot of work going on in a sincere attempt to be out in front of AI and its potential harms rather than playing catch-up, as we have done with previous disruptive new technologies.

There's little that makes my heart sink more than someone replying to a tweet of mine with their own pet rant that's really nothing to do with my tweet, and their reply ending with "1/n".

โ€œI MUST tell you,โ€ said a lady with breathless excitement, stopping us suddenly as we walked down Bermondsey Street last night, โ€œI MUST tell you that you are wearing the same clothes as that building.โ€ and skipped off

Now, if only we could add capacity to northern rail networks by, idk, maybe building a high-speed link to the north that takes pressure off the creaking Victorian infrastructure. We could call it, I dunno, maybe HS2? Has a ring to it.

TransPennine Express: what does it man for passengers? In the short term, not much. Trains will continue to run (or not) as normal, all tickets remain valid. Longer term, the aim is to increase reliability โ€“ but there are many deeply entrenched problems. independent.co.uk/travel/news-an

Good morning to everyone reporting on the likely interest rate rise today. Please remember that if the rate goes from 4.25% to 4.5%, it has not gone up by 0.25%. It has gone up a quarter of a percentage point, and the rate has risen by 5.88%. Yours, a former sub.

scrolling through my feed and honestly, I feel like a matronly teacher when I say "my goodness, Twitter doesn't half enable the most obnoxious and juvenile name-calling." Amazing how many people can't talk to or about others in a reasonably civilised and adult manner.
