This comes on the heels of a separate letter signed by almost 700 influential Black women last week, who denounced racist and sexist attacks against the VP candidates.
Worth noting of course that many of the individuals who signed today's letter are entertainers. But also worth noting the names who aren't: Ben Crump, Michael Eric Dyson, Bishop William Barber, Cliff Albright. All known & respected within their own legal, activist, etc. circles.
Long as it’s not kamala
lol that was the second name that caught my eye. There's also a certain level of.....hmm.....why Charlamagne signed it as well. I mean, he's made it pretty clear where he stands on Biden. I think that's well within his rights but then making demands? That feels a bit off.
IMO, I don't care if it was 1,000 leaders. That is not how this works. No one gets to "demand" anything. VP Biden gets to decide his pick, no one else. You have a right to vote for Biden or not. If one doesn't like his choice, that's on them. Your alternative is Trump.
