I would say this is a pretty entitled position. The vast majority of us cannot say that to a boss/client. We have to put cartoons on in the other room and take the call while we try to silently make chicken nuggets in the background.

It would be great if we could all demand our family time back, but there's an unreasonable expectation in business that if you are home and theres not an emergency, then you can make it work.

I totally agree with this (and men with kids can do it too). I also think that people without kids should have equal time to refuse calls to do things that are important to them.

I agree with this and work needs to stay at work and not bleed into after hours meetings and other bullshit. Let people have lives.
