If we used the metrics of ANY other year and applied them to Bernie he would be called a frontrunner - came in 2nd last time - almost won Iowa, won NH - near top of early polls - huge fundraising numbers - proven appeal to base of party And yet he gets ignored. It’s absurd

he LOST the primary - he is too old - period
-
I’m not advocating for him as a candidate. I just think overlooking him and his $18 million Q1 ‘19 and the new primary rules in a giant field where pulling 15-20 percent in a series of states will be enough to become a force at the convention and perhaps the nominee

And you’re going to,do your best to see that it happens, aren’t you Kasie?

Isn't it a bizarre construct for a journalist? Wagging a finger at us, and cautioning against an interpretation that is unlike hers? Just a reminder of the days when we didn't hear/read such pronouncements from unbiased reporters.

Whatever. Bernie needs to get behind the Dem nom if it's not him. The Bernie Bros are a big reason Trump is now in the White House. Also, if we wants to be Pres. he needs to be able to articulate his signature issues.

This is why Trump is in the White House:https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/11/hillary-clinton-2016-donald-trump-214428 …

I can’t see it happening with the richness of this field.
-
The richness of the field is why it can happen. It’s how Trump won, too many primary candidates to divide the vote and he wins with a minority.
