What if the sperm picked up by the nanobot wasn't the best, or was diseased or had some genetic flaw? No matter, the couple who desperately wanted a baby and paid thousands of dollars got what they wanted. Sometimes we should all listen to nature and what it's telling us.

The nanobot isn’t making any worse a decision than a lab technician doing the same thing every day all over the world. What do you mean by “listening to nature”?
-
The man's sperm couldn't reach the egg, because they are very poor quality and from an evolutionary (nature) point of view, it would be advisable that they shouldn't reach the egg. But he and his partner are paying customers so of course that overides everything else.
-
The human need to have children is an instinct as strong as any other. The argument about evolution is true, but only as true as any other medical procedure.Any time we intervene with life+death the “natural order” is impacted.I dont think it’s reasonable to be selective about how.
-
I think in a world where we are all facing impending climate catastrophe and system collapse due to OVER POPULATION, the need of a couple wanting to have a baby at all cost, instead of adopting, appears a little self obsessed.
-
We aren't over-populated. We are over-concentrated, and under-producing. This illusion of separateness from the rest of nature allows us to deny biological facts about ourselves. Like we eat, shit, and breath. We don't pay enough attention to that when deciding how to live here.

Instead of asking "can we", the question; should we? All species on Earth have 3 drivers; environment, food & reproduce. Manipulating the balance of natural reproduction maybe the most dangerous filament of human species. Population growth is out of step with nature.

-
Are you suggesting those with fertility issues should be left childless?
-
Ask nature I posed the question. Should be answered by governments, scientist's, the UN. By nature, in a health species population, individual inability to reproduce goes unnoticed.
-
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand your response.
-
Ok, I was providing a background, whilst being socially respectful, this is my ideology; Yes With rampant population growth, artificial reproduction must be adding unnatural pressure on a finite planet.

Great, force the weak to prevail. Seems like a solid game plan.

I find this hard to believe. Is there any source or reference to fact check this?

This gives a whole new meaning to "artificial insemination", doesn't it?

Can we send the
#nanobot back in time to make it prevent fertilization? (asking for a friend ...@DonaldJTrumpJr ) -
Agreed, imagine how better off we’d be without 8 years of Obama ..
-
Still better off than 1 more minute of your Orange friend who's currently keeping the seat warm..
-
And with the collection of idiots running the dems , he’ll keep it warm for 6 more years.. putting up Hillary just proved that..
-
Hillary is also trash. Last election was literally a competition of "who can convince the half wits to vote for a criminal" which nearly ended in a tie
Trump is so corrupt he almost lost to Bill's wife first time around. -
While the media predicted her winning by double digits.. end of the day, the left wing nut jobs and the right wing nut jobs come from the same bird...
-
Agreed. Next leader should be born from the compromise and understanding of the intelligent folks in between.
