    Binary counters are often used as a frequency dividers thet lets to lover the frequency by the powers of 2. If you connect its input to constant frequency f, the first counter output will give you 1/2f, second 1/4f and so on. And this is the case.

    Got _given_ a new-ish broken Seiko (cal 7S26) by a complete stranger on the interwebs, because according to him "competent repair would cost more than the watch, I'd rather someone have fun with it" Well, it's alive again! Needs demagnetizing and should be within spec. I'm happy
