Wine stores in my neighborhood rarely have liquor departments and it's upsetting. It's bad enough it's illegal (!!!) for them to sell beer. Now it's like 3 separate stops for all your alcohol needs.

It’s a good example of outdated laws. The same sort of nonsense that prohibits duels. Every city should update these kinds of restrictions.

I knew that was the great state of New York. Also can’t have chain liquor stores! And the tax rate is still super high! There’s a reason people still drive to New Hampshire for their booze needs.

It might be the only reason to live in NJ. But I think you can buy beer in Whole Foods and go next door to WF wine and liquor near Broadway in Manhattan.

Oh how ridiculous. Here in #Philly you can get Wine & liquor at State Store but not beer. At some supermarkets you can get wine (at inflated prices) & beer but not alcohol. It is....maddening but not as maddening as NYC

Not sure if you’re still there, but Primetime on 5th was our go-to for general supplies; Slope Cellars for quality.

Prime Time our go to too. But just think wine stores should sell liquor too and so many Slope ones don’t.
