How are you thinking about creating timelines? Anchoring triplets you’ve extracted to dates in their surrounding context?

right now for each person's action i capture the context block that oftentimes has dates, but not all dates are necessarily related to the action. thinking to calculate the distance between the dates to the action and take the closest, but not sure if it'll be accurate

If you want to get fancy, you may be able to use a Q&A model with a templated question to help validate if a date near an action is actually related.
