i like the direction! it would be interesting in case when there are multiple media reports on the same issue — can we better visualize the sentiment of each and possibly conflicting views? I once made dataviz analyzing media attention on Uyghurs:

This is so cool! And definitely where I would love to take the visualization. Comparison is such a great tool to discern bias for ourselves. Gonna have to look more closely at your ipython booklet. Thanks for sharing!
