I can’t put down The Longest Race. I’ve looked up to for forever. I 100% had a poster of her in my room growing up. I still idolize Kara today, but not just for her running. Her courage to share her story in order to better the sport she loves is beyond inspiring 🙏

One of the highlights of Boston Marathon weekend was receiving this signed copy of Boston Marathon by Tom
Derderian. This book inspired me so much when I first ran Boston I’m 2009. I was obsessed with the detail and history. Beyond proud to be a small part of it now. 💛💙

Really upsetting to see this today. I cannot imagine this happening- yet it did. A day of celebration and joy tainted by this. What are we doing? Running community- we preach inclusivity but we have a long way to go. This is not ok.
