    I've been informed that Bill Saturno of CTH hackerspace has died. Bill was a fantastic guy who quietly made the world better with everything he was a part of, including Kansasfest and his CT community, and myself. He will be sorely missed.

    Possibly my favorite (hard to choose!) talk from this year was the Apple ][ inside Unreal. So good, including the various disk drive sound effects.

    I've been working on an Apple ][ emulator living inside of UE4 for a little while now. Why would anyone do that? It's part of a bigger project I'm working on called zero_page.

    Just watched Kelvin Sherlock's talk on MAME at courtesy of , and it was a refreshing breath of fresh air. The interface presented by Ample is a case study in how I want the overall UI for all machines to be presented once the grand UI re-write occurs.
