You're not the only one who didn't hear. A reporter said she couldn't either. Thank you for the apology. Now maybe berners will stop the faux outrage? Doubt it. But who cares. You rock.https://twitter.com/melmason/status/1170424377311158272?s=20 …

She knew what he said......she wouldn’t have laughed if she didn’t hear it.

Those hurt by these words hear them clearly whenever they are used, like hateful racial slurs, they ring clear to those that suffer from their violent history. If you didn’t hear what the man yelled out, what exactly were you laughing at when you replied “well said”?
-
She said it twice. And laughed. Not OK. She heard him... Mayor Pete would have—politely, eloquently, yet firmly—put that man in his place and then moved on... So would have Obama or McCain. She’s not presidential.

Thanks. Remember the "Dean scream" ... Governor Dean didn't realize the mic was hooked directly into TV audiences so he didn't hear what the TV / video audiences heard. On the ground it can be way different. Thanks for taking the time to make it right.

Thank you for your apology. I accept it and that’s what leaders do. Now let’s move on and win this damn race.
