Have to admit it’s sort of nice they give kids a roadmap on where to get started. We all know the easiest way to get a kid to do something is to tell them they can’t or should not, then they list specific item not to do. To bad they did not link to kali.training

In Kali 2021.4 the sound was broken for some users. This can be fixed by running sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade then rebooting the machine.

Some of you may have upgraded while a gnome update was going into place and ended up with a broken GDM3 login panel.
If that happened press “CTRL+ALT+F3” to get terminal access and then do “sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y”. Ensure that gnome-shell 3.36 is pulled in.
Looks like an upstream package from Debian is breaking gnome. Hold off updating until we can correct, or switch from GDM to lightdm first.
With a release imminent, we wanted to take a quick moment to discuss one of our more significant upcoming changes: our selection of metapackages. These alterations are designed to optimize Kali, reduce ISO size, and better organize metapackages:

Microsoft updated the preview builds of Win10 to support WSL2 on ARM64 today. We tested Kali, and it’s working out of the box same as WSL2 on x64. WSL2 does open up sockets, so more usable for sure.
Nice way of running some additional native ARM code on a ARM windows laptop.
