    1st ENG Test starting on 6th Nov, Test squad released on 26 Sep. did they announce early to show Angelo's name in it to reduce backlash (drop for ODIs/scapegoat to save certain jobs)? if they expect Angelo to be fit for Tests why not Danushka?

    Tests - 2 Runs - 161 Ave - 40.25 50s - 2 Danushka was 2nd highest run scorer in Test v South Africa (26, 17, 57 & 61) involved in 3 40+ & 1 100+ p'ship with Dimuth (44, 51, 116,91). why not in Test squad starting on 11th Nov (subject to fitness atleast)?

    If they can put Lahiru Kumara *subject to fitness, then why not Danushka Gunathilaka? His last 2 innings were half centuries against SA and put up 100 partnership for the opening wicket stand. 🤔
