    A famous actor of remarkable skill died at a very ripe old age today. Beyond his art, he's known for taking a stand that helped end the terror of the McCarthy years, & for raping a 16 yo girl, events that happened just a few yrs apart. I'm purposely not using his name because 1/

  3. 's amended Law on Elections was just passed, and it now bans people found guilty of corruption from running for office. Definitely hoping that the Philippines would have similar provisions someday.

    Tons of chatter on Trump impeachment, but today, my eyes are on the Philippines, where we're expecting the . It's been a decade since the world's worst single day murder of journalists. 58 people massacred, including 32 journalists. Hoping for justice.
