Any MPs supporting or working on removing barriers to civil society to be able to register and run as legit non-profit foundations for Malaysia? Implications beyond rights, such as ability to set up STEM foundations to support/fund science and tech research & development

Remove the stupid patron and million ringgit deposit requirements. It should be as easy to set up a non-profit foundation as it is to set up a limited liability company in Malaysia.

That + non profit tax exemption. Should be made easy enough that everyday person can set up our own versions of Linux Foundation, Python Malaysia foundation, Knight Foundation etc.
