    So...we adjusted that text for our material and added it to every item, alongside the appropriate Rights Statement. We're excited to see if people choose to credit/link back to us, and use that info to help us build improved sharing and crediting features

    Every item record includes one of these standardized rights statements and a link to the CH Terms and Conditions, describing how people can use the material. Screenshot below of the paragraph in the Terms related to the Digital Collections

    Then, Archives worked with internal and external experts to evaluate a combination of factors (format, date range, published status, insight from legal counsel) that helped us narrow down the list of collections and complete a full rights assessment for the selected material

    Assessment started 2yrs ago w/a pilot project: Booking Ledgers Collection (ledgers for CH's 1955-2007 seasons), which are available on - support from enabled digitization & contributing ledgers to DPLA. Extra thanks to METRO folks who made this possible!

    Carnegie Hall Booking Ledger, volume 10, page 59. March 21, 1965 entry for the Recital Hall: "New Compositions by Yoko Ono" penciled in and Norman Seaman listed as management.
