Learning to use Twitter is harder than picking up assembly before C. When I was 14, I could start a firestorm on Efnet with a single insult. Now, as a C-level adult cyber criminal pseudo-celebrity, when I shoot out a zinger on Twitter, it's just... *crickets*. So depressing.
Been on Twitter for 11 years, here's what I learned: - If you want a lot of followers, you should post retweetable memes. - If you want to drive up your influence, engage w people who have more than you. If they respond, then woohoo, you are now visible to *their* followers. YMMV

By "retweetable" I mean relatively safe for work. Big diff between getting a lot of Likes vs actual RTs that get you more eyeballs. People may like the NSFW memes, but they feel like they can't RT them. Think of it like film ratings/available audiences. PG-13 vs R vs NC-17

not sure what you mean. in my advanced humor topographical mapping all funny content is subsumed under the larger areas of hurtful and/or insulting content
