My father gave me PBA cards during his time as one and I never used any of them. I threw them out, especially when the last one before he retired had the Blue Lives insignia on it.

I don't think you read the article This card is basically a "get out of a ticket free" card, maybe even a "get out of jail free card" Complying with the police won't get you any special privileges, so maybe you DO need this nonsense

I have a patient that gives me these periodically. I have such mixed feelings. As an outwardly respectable white guy, I should probably pass them on to friends of color.
