Housing a human right?? There’s a boreal forest full of food and the means for shelter. Oh wait.. the government can’t make money off of you if you do that. So it’s illegal to “squat”. Who’s pathetic here; the homeless or the government?

Housing is not a HUMAN RIGHT until it is legally recognized: as for example, in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Until that happens, your statement, "Housing as a human right ...", is nothing more than nice and comforting words.
