Affordable housing is vital. There is a surplus of housing in Vancouver. Get to the root-cause of the problem by:
-putting taxes on speculation
-banning foreign buying of existing properties
-stop overpriced housing units intended for speculation

Please define what affordable housing in Vancouver is! Is this housing that will have long term rents equal to a formula based on the minimum wage and the average hours worked per week such as 30% of 37.5 hours at $13.85/hr = $623/month for a two bedroom home...that’s affordable!
