Personally think household income shouldnt have anything to do with how much a family receives. You could have a monthly income of 4G but look at expenses...rent or mortgages are half that income. that leave say 2g for Bill's and groceries possibly car payments and insurance

Wow 2g!! I receive less than $1600 a month (Disability) total. Try paying rent and keeping up with bills and have enough left over for food for a month. I barely get to week 2 before my food is running out. If I could work I would, but I can’t.
