What is not factual. Businesses have a certain level of mobility. Carbon taxes encourage company’s to invest in other area of the world. They do nothing if just in one country.

Somebody should have warned Ontario about Doug Ford.

There is a very well designed misinformation campaign by the Conservatives. The Conservative plan will create fear of the unknown. The fear and uncertainty has to be countered by accurate information reassuring those with personal cost concerns. Be clear & transparent.

Employing the lowest form of tactics, the federal minister of families attempts cheap deflection of own inadequacies onto politician working hard for his constituents. #sunnyways

Right....so taking more from the “haves” and giving it to the “have nots” and government is gonna boost the economy? Never.

Human nature will trump number crunching every time: A higher price on carbon will attempt to reduce total consumption, but the "Law of Marginal Utility" says demand for carbon will increase and consumers will substitute and/or forego other goods accordingly.
