There was a story bout airplane I was watchin here in New York. In the 60s, Canada had one of the best warplane, fast and modern. At the request of the US, they scrap the whole plan for some inferior military equipment of the time. Am wondering if this still goes on ?

That was the Avro Arrow. Probably does still go on. Our government has seriously underfunded our miltary for many many years. Unacceptable for any sovereign nation.
