Re: French university, it’s a question of budgets and priorities, and with declining secondary numbers, and extent of provincial debt, it would be illogical for any government to consider.

Facts: No support to Franco communities has been cut. FAR better than Anglos get in QC. 2 Colleges & at least 8 univ’s offer the same French-lang programs they did before. (The only thing cut was Wynne’s vote-buying promise to build another.) The old ombudsman was ineffective.

Facts matter: ON Univs/Colleges w/ French-lang progs:OttawaU, Univ de Hearst, Sudbury, Collège Boréal, La Cité, Laurentian, St Paul, Glendon Campus (York), Dominican Univ (Carleton), OISE (UofT), RMC. None of my Franco family/friends even knew there was an ombudsman. Ineffective.
