I saw you mention this in your FOSDEM talk, and the hardware looks really nice for the price, but is there a way to sync two of them. I don't see a port for an external clock source.

I think so. Fmcomms2 board supports external clock and tdd pin to sync(if I remember correctly). We had used FPGA GPIO and SPI to sync two baseband before. Of course FPGA board also has external clock option.
