a) It was originally a Hittite town.
b) Cimmerians destroyed Ephesus in 650 BC, Goths destroyed it in 263 AD, then an earthquake destroyed it in 614 AD.
c) When Seljuk Turks conquered Ephesus in 1090, it was a small village

Neither the pub, nor the theatre group are planning to do an event on that day. The theatre company doesn't do 'drag storytime' events anymore because of the threats to their performers. TPUK are planning a protest outside an empty pub for an event that isn't happening.
