Also if you’re upset at a tweet I made leave gurl bai! Being able to compromise is what’s missing from both sides of the American political situation & the sooner we all get to a place of mutual understanding the sooner we will get out of this mess.

You should probably define your definition of racism , because here it sounds like you think racism is "Being mean to another person personally" instead of something like ...supporting and enabling a policy that is designed to negatively impact people of color.
-
Maybe you should check your history of Democrats who have systematically kept black people down. I know of NO policy that negatively impacts people of color, wouldn't that be discrimination? We have so many laws against that, stop listening to the rhetoric!
-
Racial profiling is gone. Most of these are state issues not federal issues and they are not the result of Republicans. As for voter ID's, I am for that, why can someone not show they have ID? You need an ID to drive, work, banking, collecting welfare, etc. You are a bigot!

I love you and I hope you see the privilege in this response. I can't afford to compromise with people who would see me dead.
-
Then you should have no problem compromising with a vast majority of the right.

You, Sir - Are Absolutely RIGHT! We need to compromise, and quit bullying each other. IDK you, nor have I ever heard of you, but this makes very good, and very logical sense! I am a 'registered Independent', and I love my family, and my Country.
-
Melanie - you need to read a little further. This clown's idea would sound perfectly applicable if it were not for calling the president a racist. If someone is going to use that term to describe someone they know really nothing about then his "compromise" is hollow at best.
-
Trump was the darling of the Democrats for years, has been closely associated with the black community his whole career, and it wasn’t until he ran against Hillary that anyone dared call him racist.
-
William - well there you go - if you work with the black community and turn Republican you MUST be a racist! Does this statement make me a good Democrat?
-
It makes you a Democrat, but to be a “good” Democrat you must accuse Republicans of being misogynists, anti-immigrants, sexists and religious zealots. Democrats have VERY active imaginations.
-
William - OH CRAP! Now I've got to get my butt in gear and start accusing Republicans of whatever I can "get" on them OR maybe make up a phony, salacious Russian "researched" dossier. Ya! THAT will work!!

However, I do not put president Trump in those categories. Actually I think he's doing a darn good job and helping American!

Finally a voice of reason.

I'm all for unity, but I disagree equating that to democrats "not all being evil" is ridiculous. Republicans are crafting racist policy and defending a racist president. It's an exponentially larger percentage of Republicans that are racist than Democrats that are evil.
-
Sources please or you are just stating your opinion. Guess what...some democrats are racist and some republicans are evil. Wow!
-
Trying to ban Muslims Using denaturalization to target legal immigrants Hiring white nationalists to your administration to craft policy and this anti-immigration agenda in general is racist. Fervently supporting that and a known racist for president is much worse than Dems
-
You, sir, are missing the point. Devisive language and hasty generalizations against an entire group are not helpful. Not all republicans are racist and not all democrats are evil.https://www.metrotimes.com/news-hits/archives/2018/08/16/michigan-rep-apologizes-for-racial-slurs-against-asian-opponent …
-
I understand that, but I think you're missing my point. I don't get where you are even getting this association of Democrats being evil. I've heard of left-wingers being called soft or "snowflakes," but the only person who I've ever heard associate "evil" is Alex Jones.
-
The racist Republicans are a vocal minority, but I'm not alleviating blame for the majority of them following in lockstep. When 80% of Republicans vote for or approve of a known racist as he hires white nationalists, I see them by their actions.
-
I know there are Republicans that aren't really politically involved and just like him or whatever, but my point stands that equating the Democratic agenda as being anywhere near as "evil" as the GOP's is racist is imo, a misrepresentation of whats happening.
