Yes, the gov’s authoritarian proposed legislation is an attempt to appeal to his base and win FL for Trump. BUT, if the sanctuary city ordeal is any indicator, he’s serious about passing these laws. He ran on it in ‘18 + the GOP majority legislature passed SB168. Pay attention.
