I have an older 413j and I'm generally happy with the software content and setup. My only complain is cpu is a touch slow (don't mind this given its low tdp and going to be on 24/7) but the nic rw perf has never been better than ~500mbs on a gb switch. Maybe avoid ARM boards.

That said, it still occasionally gets security updates, and I've done two paranoid-level drive swaps on raid5 without issue. Alerting drove these and seemed fine? So I'm happy. I'll prob just make the next one a Celeron one.
