Maybe it was a bad idea to chart my career path based on what 12 year-old me thought were cool taglines from X-Men comics. 🤔

Based on the feedback it sounds like Synology is the easy solution, and "easy" is my top criteria here.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a home NAS box? My main criteria are: easy to setup and manage; PLEX support for the kid's DVDs/Blu-rays; and Google Drive multi-account support. I see there are a few options here, and wondered if anyone had experience and preferences?

I don't get why so many Sanders people seem intent on picking fights. If he's the nominee, they'll need all the other candidates' supporters (I'm Warren, fwiw). I'll support the nominee regardless, but it's still crazy to risk burning those bridges.

You used to hear Republicans throw around the phrase "activist judge" as an epithet, but now they love it since they were able to stack the judiciary with far right whackos. Hell, conservative luminary George Will is now a full on convert.

They weren't even coy about it. The Federalist Society's whole point was to stack the judiciary and ram through far right jurisprudence—views that were way outside the mainstream (ahem "textualism") and scoffed at by most Republicans even.

The Roberts court's whole game is about breaking hard right from centuries of precedent. Take Heller, NFIB v. Sebelius, Citizens United, Shelby County, Janus. Those five verdicts were all massive rightward jumps and have basically rewritten huge swaths of existing law.

Roberts is always so concerned with the perceived legitimacy of the courts, but that's at risk only because Republican appointees—such as Roberts—have so frequently broken with precedent and moved so far to the right. How about just not doing that?

Here is one of several cabinet members who need to be impeached by the House for corruption. Then ⁦⁩ can sort it out. Elaine Chao is our first case study in how corrupt the Trump administration is.
