Ooof, yeah. The first time I animated two humans together in 3D was before good IK. Somehow I thought I was ready for the challenge of a close-up of their interlocked hands while one kicked the other’s chest in battle. Can’t bear to watch it now.

It was all forward k in 3D Studio (pre Max, no shaded viewports). Two human figures, with capes, and hair, and ... wtf was I thinking.

I watched all stop motion animations (love them), while I am coming from CGI background, curious if one day I have chance to do this in VR....
-

how many hours went into this shot?
-
I don’t remember how many went into the animation.... but if you add up the lighting, camera setup, animation and set dressing it was probably over s week start to finish or more.
