5/ Businesses are basically spreadsheets with a bunch of constants (CAC, LTV, etc) that spit out an amount of profit at the bottom. It’s highly unlikely your business is any different. Denying this won’t convince investors.

7/ Narrative: You need to tell a compelling story about why anyone should give a shit about your business. Most founders tell a story that is either too complex, assuming too much investor interest in decoding complexities and industry jargon.

8/ Good stories are simple, powerful, and lead you to a natural conclusion (in the case of a fundraising pitch, that conclusion is that the company will be worth billions).
