Why some producers keep doing that is maddening. Tell the execs to GTF out of programming of they try to shoehorn in a**holes like Gidley, who have no value, instead of making talent go through this dance. Thankfully, Hallie didn't put up with the BS.

How has no one asked him why and when he dropped the "J." from his name? When he was schlepping for Santorum he was "J. Hogan Gidley," but sometime when he made the move to Trump he became "Hogan Gidley."
Trying to keep the J. slightly less sullied so he can slink away and come back in a couple years as John Gidley and hope nobody notices.
